At Stamford Green Primary School, Year 3 and Year 4 really enjoyed the visit from author Georgia Pritchett.  We helped her to conquer a fear of spiders and she gave us top tips for what to do if we are beginning to worry.  We particularly loved hearing her reading from the 'Wilf the Worrier' Books.

In fact we were so inspired by her visit, that some of us spent lunchtime reading our new books.

Holly Webb's visit to Claygate

Here's what Sophie and Josie from Rowan class had to say about Holly's visit.

"On Wednesday Years 3&4 had a very exciting visitor—Holly Webb, who is an author. She read us parts of her books, called The Truffle Mouse, A Cat Called Penguin, Chocolate Dog, Looking for Bear, The Midnight Panda and Tiger Tale, and we enjoyed them all! She told us about herself and her interesting pets, and about how she gets ideas for her stories. At the end of the visit she sold some books and we got them signed. We really enjoyed her visit and we wish we could meet her again!"
